About This Quiz

The topic of makeup causes more controversy than you'd think. Many people have strong feelings about cosmetics, for a variety of reasons. For instance, in the opinion of some feminists, the pressure women receive to wear makeup at work is inappropriate. Other feminists hail makeup as a fantastic tool for self-expression. Meanwhile, some conservative men despise makeup, claiming that it's "false advertising," while other men fully approve of cosmetics, seeing them as an essential component of female attraction ... except if the makeup is too "harsh," a term that has been applied to black lipstick, cat's eye makeup, mermaid eyeshadow and other creative looks.

Where do you stand on this issue? Do you love using the elaborate makeup skills you've picked up from YouTube tutorials, or are you good to go after applying tinted moisturizer and brown mascara? Do you chase the "no makeup" makeup look, or do you prefer to flaunt cherry lips and black eyeliner like a '40s pinup?

Whatever your makeup preference is, we bet we can figure it out if you're willing to answer a few questions. We want to know how you get ready for bed, if you'd ever consider microblading your brows and how often you wear sunscreen. All you have to do is tell us the truth, and we'll guess whether you rock a bare face or you are a proudly unnatural beauty. Are you intrigued yet? Let's get quizzing!
