About This Quiz

You could be harboring a European accent and not even know it! The words you choose to use during this quiz will help us uncover the accent you could pull off with very little work. The origins of the English language are fascinating and varied. You might be leaning toward a particular European accent without even realizing it.

Like most other languages, our language has been heavily influenced by Latin. In fact, many of the words we use today share the same Latin base found in languages the world over. For now, we want to find out which European accent you are secretly carrying around with you.

We want to find out your manner of speaking and analyze it against our extensive language database to find out if you are harboring an Eastern European or a more Western European accent.

As you go through the quiz, choose the word you might use in natural conversations. There's no need to expand your vocabulary beyond your current horizons, but you may find a few of the questions more challenging than you were bargaining for. Have no worries! We are simply trying to get a good glimpse into the way you use words!
