The World Wrestling Entertainmentment Inc., simply known as WWE, is an American integrated media and entertainment company which is primarily known for professional wrestling, which then branched out into real estate and movies as well as other fields. 

Founded back in 1952, the wrestling promotional business is now the largest in the world and holds over 500 events every year reaching over 36 million viewers all over the world. 

While some people believe that wrestling is a pretend sport, there are many people out there who are true fans and believe that all of the antics are real. With all sports, there are players who are more popular than others, some of whom have become true legends in their field. On every top 50 list, you will find people like Randy Savage, Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, John Cena and Ric Flair.

Throughout his 32-year career, he has won 29 titles including 4 WCW World Heavyweight Championships.

Terry Bollea, better known as "Hulk Hogan," is an American actor, entrepreneur and retired professional wrestler who has been called “the most recognized wrestling star worldwide and the most popular wrestler of the 1980s” by IGN. For his work, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.

Mark William Calaway, better known as “The Undertaker," is an American professional wrestler and is widely regarded as the greatest professional wrestler of all time. Throughout his career, he has held 17 championship titles and is a 7-time WWE Champion earning him the title “the soul of the WWE” after competing for over 26 years.

Michael Shawn Hickenbottom, better known as Shawn Michaels, is an American actor, television presenter and retired professional wrestler who has been called one of the finest wrestlers throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. He is a 4-time world champion an s 2-time Royal Rumble champion.

Kevin Scott Nash is an American actor and semi-retired professional wrestler who after playing college basketball and the German league found success in the World Wrestling Federation. He has won the WWF Triple Crown as well as having won a total of 21 championships.

Paul Donald Wight III, whose ring name is “Big Show,” is an American professional wrestler and actor who is a 7-time world champion, an 11-time world tag team champion, as well as a two-time WWF/WWE Champion. He has also starred in a string of movies, some of which include Jingle All the Way and The Waterboy.

Steve Austin, better known as “Stone Cold” is an American retired professional wrestler and actor who has often been called “the most profitable and most influential wrestler of all time”. He held 19 championships throughout his career, two if which are Intercontinental Championships, and six of which are WWF Championships.

Curt Michael Hennig, who also used the stage name “Mr. Perfect,” was an American professional wrestler and manager. He is a two-time world champion and has held the American Wrestling Association’s World Heavyweight Championship for over 370 days, one of the longest in history.

John Felix Anthony Cena Jr. is an American professional wrestler, actor and rapper who has won 25 championships and 16 reigns as the world champion since 1999. He has also headlined WWE’s flagship event Wrestlemania on five different occasions. He is also known for starring in films like Daddy’s Home, Ferdinand and The Marine.

Robert “Booker T” Tio Huffman is an American professional wrestler who is one of the most decorated wrestlers in the World Champion Wrestling, having won 35 championships and having held 21 titles, six of which are WCW World Television Championships and is a 15-time world tag team champion.

Andre the Giant was a French professional wrestler and actor who is best remembered for his role in The Princess Bride and his feud with Hulk Hogan. Andre suffered from a condition called acromegaly and by the age of 12, he was already 6 feet 3 inches tall and finally settling at 7 feet 4 inches.

Phillip Jack Brooks, better known as CM Punk, is an American mixed martial artist and retired professional wrestler. He is best known for being a 2-time WWE Champion which included a reign for over 400 days and for being the 2011 WWE Superstar of the Year, among many other titles.

Steve Borden, better known as “Sting," is an American actor, author and retired professional wrestler who throughout his 30-year career has held 15 World Championships, 6 WCW World Heavyweight Championships and is often called one of the best in his generation.

Bret Sergeant Hart, better known by his ring name Bret “The Hitman” Hart, is a Canadian-American actor and retired professional wrestler who has held a total of 32 championships throughout his career. In November of 1997, after the “Montreal Screwjob” (a manipulated match between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels), he retired.

Rodney Agatupu Anoa’I was an American professional wrestler, who was better known as “Yokozuna” (the highest rank in sumo wrestling). He never competed in sumo wrestling but was a 2-time WWF World Heavyweight Champion and was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Dwayne Douglas Johnson, better known as “The Rock,” is an American actor, producer and semi-retired professional wrestler who has been called one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He has won multiple championships and is also known for starring in multiple movies including the Fast and the Furious franchise, Moana and Central Intelligence.

Richard Henry Blood Sr., who is also known by the stage name Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat is an American retired professional wrestler best known for being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009. He is also a one-time Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion and 12-time World Tag Team Champion.

Chris Michael Benoit was a Canadian professional wrestler who throughout his 22-year career has held 22 championships including a 2-time World Champion, a 1-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and was considered one of the top 10 all-time greats. In 2007, he murdered his wife and son before committing suicide.

Kurt Steven Angle is an American professional wrestler, actor and former gold-medal Olympian. He has won a total of 21 total championships including the King of the Ring tournament and has held the WWF/WWE Championship four times as well as the WCW Championship.

Eldrige Wayne Coleman, better known as “Superstar Billy Graham” is an American retired professional wrestler. He is best remembered for being the WWF Heavyweight Champion in from 1977 to 1978 and for also being the training partner of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

James Brian Hellwig, better known as “The Ultimate Warrior," is a 2-time WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion and also a WWF World Heavyweight Champion after beating Hulk Hogan. After his death from a heart attack in 2014, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Bruno Sammartino is an Italian-born American professional wrestler who is best known for holding the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) World Heavyweight Championship for over 11 years, earning him the nickname “The Living Legend”.

Theodore Marvin DiBiase Sr., better known as “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, is an American manager, color commentator and former professional wrestler who has been called one of the greatest villains in pro wrestling history. He has held over 30 titles throughout his career including the 1988 King of the Ring.

Roderick George Toombs, better known as “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, was a Canadian professional wrestler and actor who is best known for wearing a kilt accompanied by a bagpipe on entrance. He was also a king of the B-movies, having starred in classics like "Hell Comes to Frogtown" and "They Live."

Ronald Simmons is an American retired professional wrestler and football player who is best known for being the first African American to win the title of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) World Heavyweight Champion. He was also a 3-time WWF Tag Team Champion with Bradshaw.

Eddie Gory Guerrero Llanes was an American professional wrestler who is one of the members of the Guerrero wrestling family and is best known for the catchphrase “I Lie! I Cheat! I Steal!”. He has won the WWE Championship as well as being posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Freddie Joe “Jack” Brisco was an American professional wrestler who has been called the “greatest champion of the 20th century”. He has won an NWA World Heavyweight Championship and was inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2005 and the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008.

Adam Joseph Copland, better known as “Edge," is a Canadian actor and professional wrestler who has won over 30 championships in WWE including the WWE Championship 4 times and the World Heavyweight Championship a record 7 times. In 2012, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Christopher Keith Irvine, better known by the name “Chris Jericho," is an American-born Canadian professional wrestler who is best known for winning 32 total championships between the World Wrestling Federation, the Extreme Championship Wrestling and the World Championship Wrestling.

Terrence Funk, better known as Terry Funk, is an American semi-retired professional wrestler and actor whose career has lasted over 50 years. He has won multiple championships and has been inducted into multiple halls of fame including the WWE, NWA and WCW.

Paul Michael Levesque, better known as “Triple H," is an American business executive, actor and professional wrestler who has won a total of 25 championships, including 9 reigns as the WWF Champion as well as winning 5 WWE World Heavyweight Champions.

Virgil Riley Runnels Jr., better known as “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes is an American professional wrestler and trainer who has won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship 3 times as well as being the United States Heavyweight Champion. He is also 1 of 6 men who has been inducted into each Halls of Fame.

Glenn Thomas Jacobs, better known as “Kane," is an American professional wrestler, businessman and actor who is best known for being the younger brother of The Undertaker. He is a 12-time world tag team champion, a 2-time Intercontinental as well as 3-time World Championship.

Herman Gustav Rohde Jr., who is also known as “Buddy Rogers,” was an American professional wrestler who is best known for being a 2-time world champion in both the NWA and the WWWF. Along with Ric Flair and AJ Styles, they are the only three men in history to do so.

Randal Keith Orton, better known as “Randy Orton," is a third-generation professional wrestler and actor who has won the Intercontinental Championship and at the time was the youngest person to win the World Heavyweight Championship at the age of 24 years old.

Richard Morgan Fliehr, better known as “Ric Flair,” is an American professional wrestling manager and professional wrestler and is often called the greatest professional wrestler of all time. Throughout his 40-year career, he has been Wrestler of the Year, eight times and is also a 2-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee.

Jimmy Reiher Snaku, also known as “Superfly," is a Fijian professional wrestler and actor who has won several titles and been inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame. In 2015, he was arrested on third-degree murder for the death of his girlfriend more than 30 years earlier but were eventually dismissed due to his failing health.

Harley Leland Race is an American former professional wrestler, trainer and promoter who has been inducted into several halls of fame. He is known for how tough he his as well as his dedication to the business.

Aurelian Jake Smith Jr. better known as Jake “The Snake” Roberts is an American actor and semi-retired professional wrestler who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014. He was famous for bringing a python to the ring with him.

Óscar Gutiérrez, who is better known as “Rey Mysterio” which is Spanish for “King Mystery”, is an American professional wrestler who is best known the appearances that he has made in Extreme Championship Wrestling and WWE. He has often called the greatest cruiserweight wrestler of all time and has been a 3-time WWE world champion.
