"America's Next Top Model" lasted 24 seasons over the years, and an essential part of the series was the famous makeover at the beginning of each season. The host, Tyra Banks (and we're assuming a team of professional hairdressers) would hand-pick haircuts and colors for each contestant, without any of their input. They'd choose anything from shaving the models bald to sewing in a curly-Q bleach blonde weave. And many times, the models would absolutely hate the haircut that was chosen for them. Some even decided to quit the competition after their hair makeover because they were so distraught over it.

Was it because that buzz cut looked awful? Not necessarily. It was because the haircut did not match the model's personality whatsoever. It didn't feel like them.
