"Power Rangers" is an American entertainment franchise based on the Japanese superhero television series "Super Sentai." The series revolves around a team of teens who are recruited and trained to morph into the power rangers to save the city, and sometimes the world from various enemies. 

The series was so popular that by 2001 that the franchise has already generated over $5 billion in toy sales. The franchise is about to release its 26th installment called "Power Rangers Beast Morphers" with an all-new cast and backstory. 

Over the years, there have been many different "Power Rangers," all of whom have been one of these colors; white, red, green, blue, black, yellow, and pink. The color usually indicated their personality trait and are usually consistent throughout the seasons.
