Since 1963, Doctor Who and his companions have been delighting audiences around the world, from British folks on the show's native soil to the citizens of dozens of nations, including the U.S., Canada and New Zealand. A time traveler with the ability to regenerate into new incarnations, the Doctor has been played by many celebrated actors, including Christopher Eccleston, Matt Smith, Tom Baker and David Tennant.
