About This Quiz
As the key antagonists of Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed" franchise, the Assassins' Brotherhood and the Knights Templar have two competing visions for how the world should be. The Assassins are all about personal liberty and sticking it to the man. Their modern branches live in the shadows and operate on the fringes of society. They are committed to not using the artifacts of great power that come into their possession, such as the Apple of Eden - or at least, only using them when totally necessary and for the broader benefit of society.
The Templars are a more authoritarian group who fundamentally don't trust that humans, left to their own devices, will make wise choices. They fear the decay of society and the potential for collapse. That's why they align themselves with the rich and powerful, whether multinational conglomerates in today's paradigm or kings and lords back in the time of the Crusades. The only solution, in their view, is a well-ordered society in which the weak are protected because good strong people have control.
These two visions compete for dominance in the games as well as in reality, and most of us probably find things to admire or reject in either worldview. It's time to find out which suits you better!
