About This Quiz

Some people let their head rule their life. Then, there are those people who let their heart take over their being. And these two different aspects will tell you if your ego or your soul is ruling you. Which are you?

Those who tend to rule with their heads also tend to fall into the trap of being egotistical. Of course, this is the level-headed one, the person who always thinks of a strategy for doing things, someone who might also be a tad competitive. These things, when displayed in small doses, are still okay, in a way. But someone becomes egotistical once these things get amped up, which pumps up the ego in huge proportions sometimes. And when there's no heart in here, there's also no soul here - just a very overthinking brain that inadvertently pumps up the ego way too much sometimes.

The opposite is the rather emotional kind. This doesn't translate to being soft, of course. In fact, showing some act of kindness towards others is a good sign that the heart is controlling the person the right way - because the soul is in charge. Empathy, a desire to help, and being generally friendly are characteristics that show a person's soul is in the right place, as is their heart.

So, do you want to know in which one of these opposites do you belong? Then take this probing personality quiz and find out!

What would you do if a rushing stranger accidentally bumps into you while walking down a busy sidewalk?
Hey, can't do that to me! To me! I'll let that stranger know. I'll let everybody know!
Ignore it. They may be on their way to an emergency, so I'll let them be.
Well, that's utterly annoying. But I'm busy, too, so I'll just hurry along like that stranger.
Oh, someone bumped me? Too zoned out to notice...

If you were one of those cinematic Avengers, who would you be?
Ironman, hello, isn't it obvious! I'm good at everything like Stark!
I think I'm like that Wanda one, or Scarlet Witch, since I feel sorcery within my being, too...
Hulk! I can be really, really nice at times. But I can get really, really angry, too!
Sorry, I don't watch those films. Not a fan.

What would you do if you find yourself in a long line at the supermarket?
Ugh, not gonna happen. I'll look for a way to be first in any line. I should always be first!
Just let the queue pass. I don't mind waiting in line.
Well, it depends if I'm in a rush. If I am, I'll just come back another time.
I might not notice the long line, since I always got my earphones and music on.

Do you take long walks alone?
Sure! But I have to be at my best, so that people will enjoy looking at me, as I enjoy looking at them, too!
Yes, preferably in a place where there are no people, like on a beach very early in the morning.
Sometimes, but it depends on the place where I'll do the walking.
I take walks, but I don't really notice if I'm alone or not...

How do you have your breakfast every morning?
I call my helper to prepare it for me. I don't dirty my hands for such things.
I'm at peace with just having a cup of brewed coffee while staring at the sunrise...
Sometimes I just whip out some cereals and milk, and be on my way.
I don't really eat breakfast.

If the elevator is not working in a building where you need to go for a meeting, what will you do?
That is unacceptable! I'll move the meeting, and let them come to where I am!
I'll have to assess the situation with the people I'm meeting with, so we can arrive at a solution together.
This depends on why I need to be there and who I'm meeting, so I'm not sure. I'll wait it out a bit...
I don't really go to meetings. Email or Skype is good enough.

If the server brings you the wrong order in a restaurant, how will you react?
Complain to the manager! After I give the inept server a dress down first!
I'll have to ask the server to trace the mix-up, so they won't be charged for the mistake.
Well, if the food is okay and affordable, I can take it! No sense in waiting if I'm hungry.
I don't really like eating in restaurants that much. Too snobbish.

When you're driving and someone ahead of you commits a driving error, what will you do?
The moment I pull up ahead of that bad driver, I'll sneer to give him or her a lesson!
I'll just let it be. We all commit driving mistakes anyway. No big deal.
Well, it depends if I bump into their car, then that's not good. If there's no harm done, I don't care.
Um, I really don't drive, because I don't care about having a car...

Do you like taking vacations with your friends?
Only if they follow the itinerary I want for the day!
Yes, it's a great way to bond with like-minded individuals from time to time, and to form great memories with great people.
That's cool, but only if it won't cost me that much. Maybe I can ask for freebies from them from time to time.
I'm not really a fan of going to different places. We can just hang out at home.

Do you attend family reunions?
Of course! So I can tell them about the magnificent details of my life. They need to know how great I'm doing!
Yes, because I'm a fan of great kinship. I love my family, and it's great to see how everyone's doing from time to time.
If I need something from my family at a given time, yeah I can attend a reunion, maybe.
Pass. I am estranged from my family for reasons I don't want to discuss.

If your boss gave you a raise or promotion, how would you react?
Surprised that it took the boss that long to give me something I obviously deserved a long time ago!
I'd be so grateful, and I would thank the boss and express my gratitude for their trust in my work.
I'd doubt it at first, then check with HR and accounting if it's true.
Happy! I could always use the extra money!

What is an ideal date scenario for you?
I'd talk endlessly about my great achievements to impress the date. Hey, they should know I'm a catch!
Drinking nice cocktails, coffee or wine with my date in a laidback place where we can chat about life.
Maybe eat out, dinner, but we go Dutch. Then maybe drinks after, not sure.
I'd rather chat someone up online first or in a dating app. Not a fan of face-to-face meet-ups.

If you find someone sitting in your plane seat when you get there, what will you do?
I'll demand the ignorant person to check their ticket and look for their appropriate seat! Very inconvenient!
I'll inquire if they have the right seat, and will direct them towards theirs. They might have made an honest mistake, or they might be first-time travelers.
Um, I'll approach the flight attendant and let them solve the issue.
Well, I don't really like riding planes, so this might not apply to me.

When you discover that the dry cleaners gave you the wrong clothes, what will you do?
I'll demand that they give me back my payment, together with my clothes! Such an inconvenience! And bad service!
I'll just give it back and get my clothes. No biggie. People make switcheroo mistakes all the time.
Hm, I'm tempted to see if the clothes are far better than mine, then I'll keep them, hehe.
I do my own laundry, so I don't really dry clean stuff.

When a guest enters your office and mistakes you as the receptionist (but you're not), how will you react?
I'll give them the eye, and say my designation aloud! Aloud! Then walk away.
I'll say I'm not the receptionist, but I'll be glad to help them just the same.
Well, if the guest is not mine, I'll point them to the nearest person around so they can ask there.
I don't really like talking to people... think I'll turn back.

How do you usually behave during rush hour at the subway or in any public transportation station?
I'll elbow my way near the door, always. I have to go first!
I'll just flow with the crowd and follow their pace.
I try to sit or stand near the door, so I can easily go out.
I don't like big crowds, so I'll just ride when it's not rush hour anymore.

How do you eat your ice cream served in a cone?
Lick it like any normal person! How else do you eat it? What a nonsensical question!
I usually start nibbling and licking at the part where the scoop meets the cone. Then work my way around it, to enjoy the flavor.
Don't like cones. I'll ask for a cup, then dump it there. Then spoon it.
Not an ice cream fan. It gives me colds.

What kind of movies do you watch?
Action or adventure types! I love it when a hero can kill all the enemies and defeat the system!
I like deep, insightful films that'll make me laugh, think, or just feel. I love many kinds.
Depends on my mood. Mostly comedy, and also some fantasy stuff.
Not much of a movie fan. I'll see what my friends want to see sometimes.

When you see people posting their "sweet couple things" on Facebook, how do you react?
Hahaha! Such fakery, these people. Their lives aren't better than mine!
I'll like it, especially if the post is about something that makes them happy.
Ugh, I'll unfollow or hide them. PDA, people. Not for everyone.
I don't like looking at Facebook much. I don't care.

Do you have friends in your workplace?
I don't come to the office to make friends. Strictly business only.
Of course! It helps boost morale if people are friendly in the office.
Just the people in my department
I don't like the people at the office much. I steer clear of them.

When someone comes up to you and mistakes you for someone else, how will you react?
I'll push them away! And tell them in a loud voice that they're mistaken! The nerve to mistake me for someone else!
I'll politely tell them that they made a mistake, and smile. No biggie.
It might be a thief cornering me! I'll just run away!
Hm, that depends. I'll investigate who this person is, and ask them questions...

When tourists request you to take a picture of them in front of something, what will you do?
Give them the eye and ignore them! They're wasting my precious time!
Glad to oblige! I want to make them happy, even for just a bit.
They might be pickpockets sizing me up! I'll just walk past them.
Hm, I'll check first if I can operate their camera. Don't wanna look like a fool...

Do you keep in touch with your high school friends?
Nope. We don't have anything in common now. I'm better than them. What's the point?
Yes, from time to time. It's nice to reminisce those days with them.
It depends. If they can help me today, then fine, I can keep in touch. If not, no way.
I really didn't like high school. Nah.

If you find yourself in a medical emergency in a very public place, what will you do first?
Secure my belongings! Someone might rob me while I'm calling 911! Got so many precious items with me!
I'll keep calm and call 911, then take the offer of anyone who tries to help.
I'll just try to rush home, so I won't be caught doing anything yucky outside.
I think I'll call 911, then sit there and just wait, without budging.

When your boss requires you to attend a company outing, event, or team building exercise, what will you say?
I don't need to attend those things to do my job well.
Of course! I'll be there. It's a great opportunity to bond with my officemates.
Um, I guess I have to, because that's a requirement, right? Or they might fire me, so I'll go.
Can I just call in sick? Yeah, maybe I will.

When someone tries to talk over you while you're still explaining something, how will you react?
Talk to the hand! I'll raise my hand, palm up, really really near their face, to shut them up!
I'll try to weave back in and say "Excuse me, but could you please let me finish talking first?" then will smile a bit.
I'll just let them talk. Then I'll stare at them in an evil way. Hope they get the point!
Just let them talk. Gives me an excuse not to talk anymore, because I don't really like talking much in front of people.

When you and someone else spot some money on the floor in a public place, what will you do?
I'll rush in! Hey, I saw that first! It's mine! Finders keepers!
I'll ask if the money is theirs, then see how they'll react. I'll ask them to help me locate the poor person who lost the money.
I'll see if they'll pick it up. If not, then they look away, I'll discreetly pick it up.
Nah, will leave it alone. That might be marked money, you know, and cause trouble.

When you're in a line about to be served, then someone cuts in to overtake you, what will you do?
Nudge the person hard on the shoulder, then shout for everyone to hear how bad their manners are! Such a brute!
I'll kindly tap their shoulder and say that there's a line behind them, and direct them towards where they should go, but with a smile.
I'll just silently tap them until they turn around, then point them towards the line at my back while I silently overtake him. Let the others crucify this line-cutter!
Let 'em go ahead. They might have a knife or gun and hurt me! Better safe than sorry.

When you drive by someone whose rather old car stalled on the side of the road, what will you do?
Laugh! Serves them right for buying such a lemon. Or for being a cheapskate and not upgrading!
I'll drive slowly and stop by, roll my window down and see if they need assistance, which I can call for them to help them.
Don't stop! It might be a ploy to carjack your own car! Never be so trusting these days.
If their car still looks way better than mine, I'd just drive on. They'll fix it soon, for sure.

When you want to get ahead in life, especially in your career, what should you do?
Do whatever it takes! If it means stepping over some people, that's fine. I deserve things better than them, anyway.
Just do hard work, really hard, but still enjoy what you do. And always be friendly to everyone, for good camaraderie and great morale.
Just show up on time and work regularly to meet deadlines, but always be on the lookout for better opportunities elsewhere.
I'm good where I am, dude. Just have a chill life, that's the best.
