About This Quiz

A high school diploma is the benchmark for required education in the U.S. Every student goes through the rigors and awkwardness of being a high schooler. From freshmen year through graduation, it's a formidable 4 years. Everyone can relate to the trials and tribulations, laughter and tears every high school student goes through until finally walking across a stage with a funny robe and hat to receive their diploma.

Secondary education has roots all the way back to the original 13 colonies. Early education did not consistent of what we now know as the core subjects of math, reading, writing and science. Classes instead focused on the virtues of being a strong community member, respecting family values and the importance of faith and religion.  

Modern progressive education goes back to the 1930's, and works to prepare students in a variety of subjects in order to reach their full potential and become productive members of a democratic society. Those who choose to further their education will be prepared after high school to attend college. 

You may remember the good times and bad times of high school, but how well do you remember the academics? Did you fall asleep in science class but ace every test in math?
