Mars made his earthly debut on Oct. 8, 1985.

Mars picked up a Best Male Vocal Performance Grammy for "Just the Way You Are" in 2010. Best Pop Vocal Album would come next, in 2013.

Billboard crowned Mars in 2013.

Mars' brother, Eric Hernandez, is The Hooligans' drummer.

Mars has one brother, Eric, and four sisters: Presley, Tahiti, Jamie and Tiara.

Mars became an Elvis impersonator at the ripe old age of 3 because he wanted to be like his uncle.

Peter Hernandez Sr. is the front man of the Love Notes.

"The World's Youngest Elvis Impersonator," then 6 years old, showed up in the Nicolas Cage and Sarah Jessica Parker flick "Honeymoon in Vegas."

Mars pleaded guilty to felony cocaine possession after being busted in a Las Vegas casino bathroom in 2010. After he paid a fine and completed community service, his record was cleared in 2012.

The Hernandez sisters are also known as the Lylas (for "Love You Like a Sister").
