About This Quiz
Society, especially western culture, is at a bit of a crossroads as it relates to health and quality of life. On the one hand, our life expectancies are longer than ever before, and medical technology is the best it's ever been. Cures and treatments are available for many common diseases that were deadly killers just a few decades ago.
On the other hand, "lifestyle" diseases like diabetes and heart disease are being diagnosed at a higher rate than ever before. While many of these diseases are hereditary, in other cases they are brought on to a person by the way the individual eats and how often they get exercise.
Unfortunately, more than three out every four Americans don't get the recommended amount of weekly exercise according to the CDC. However, there is hope for a brighter future, as millennials are spending more than previous generations on fitness and showing that they place a greater value on living a fit and healthy lifestyle.
If you aren't already active, moving around can help you feel and look better. No matter where you are in your journey, there are things you can do to improve this aspect of your life.
