About This Quiz
Some of the first gyms in the world were built in Persia around 3,000 years ago. They were areas designed for physical fitness and sports, which goes to show it's practically in our DNA to want to get out there and do something to stay in shape, to be fit, and to make ourselves look and feel better. There are ways to do that at home or on the cheap in your neighborhood, but there's just something about that gym experience. There's a wide array of equipment, personal trainers and other people motivated to do the same thing you're doing. It's half intimidating and half exhilarating at the same time. The only downside is that it can sometimes be tough to hold on to that motivation. Some people seem like they were born in a gym, while others can't seem to get into it at all.Â
The result is that while you might hit up the gym seven days a week —sometimes even twice a day — sometimes you can barely squeeze it in once a week. Hey, it happens!
