About This Quiz
In the history of classic cars, not too many stand out as much as the pony cars. The whole class started with the Ford Mustang in 1964. The company created a powerful, affordable, compact car that was sporty and fierce. Pony cars could drive and they did it well. The Mustang proved to be a massive hit and soon Chevrolet had to answer, and answer it did with the Camaro in 1966.
The pony car category is a lot smaller than most people think because most people get them confused with muscle cars. Something like the Pontiac GTO, the Dodge Charger or the legendary Plymouth Hemi Cuda are amazing and powerful cars but they're not pony cars. They're muscle cars. Is there a difference? You bet! A muscle car s a mid-size to a large car. They often have a large V8, they can handle at least 4 passengers and they're built to perform. A pony car is similar, it's just smaller. It doesn't even necessarily need that V8 engine. Today, the only pony cars in production are the Chevy Camaro, the Ford Mustang and the Dodge Challenger. So if you're a fan of the class, chances are you have an opinion about the Camaro v.s the Mustang, and we can guess what it is! Take the quiz and see!
