With over a year left until the 2020 election, the fireworks are just getting started! Whether you've been glued to every debate or you've simply heard the snippets, there's no doubt that you agree with some candidates more than others. Once you tackle these questions about the toughest issues facing the nation, the candidate you have the least common ground with will be clear.

You don't have to be a Democrat or a Republican to have a few bipartisan ideas. Though, most people tend to lean one way or the other. During this quiz, the party listed on your voter registration is irrelevant. Your stance on everything from immigration to climate change is enough to figure out which democratic candidate would never get your vote.

Is Senator Sanders a little too socialist for you? Do you believe it's even possible to be a "Human-Centered Capitalist" like Andrew Yang? Without giving away your affiliation or your favorite candidate for the job, the candidate that you have zero faith in will be as obvious as the president's contempt for all of them.

There's no need to change unlimited terms.

We get enough family leave.

Some candidates want nine months of leave. That's too much.
Family leave should last at least 12 weeks.

It should be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Should Americans who rent receive a special tax credit?

That's ridiculous.

It would stimulate the economy.
If they want a tax credit, they should buy a house.

No, but rental costs should be lowered to an affordable level.

How do you feel about Andrew Yang saying his campaign will donate $10,000 to 10 families for a year to test a universal basic income?

I think it sounds like a bribe for votes.

It's never going to work, but he can do what he wants with his campaign funds.
I could get behind a universal basic income, but this isn't the way to go about it.

I'm not sure I understand his intentions.

Should a Medicare For All plan completely eliminate private insurance?

Nothing will completely eliminate private insurance.

That would cause further chaos in the healthcare sector.
It's the only way to go.

The numbers for that do not add up.

Pete Buttigieg firmly believes that public school teachers need to be paid more. Do you?

Teachers are never paid enough! Their pay should be increased.

They get summers off. What more do they want?
Happy, well-paid teachers will inspire better educations for their students.

Everyone in the United States needs to be paid more.

In your opinion, what could be done to relieve the crisis at the Southern border?

The entire immigration system needs an overhaul.

There should be tougher penalties for illegally crossing the border.
It's a big country. Qualified immigrants should be admitted.

Providing additional aid to the countries people are fleeing is the best way to go.

I'm worried that social media companies are not taking enough precautions.

I don't believe there's ever been interference. No, I'm not worried.
Every American should be worried about it.

Even if it does happen, the American people are too smart to worry about it.

It's a little extreme.

He has some good points, but I'm more moderate.
I don't agree with him at all. The second amendment is at stake.

Gun control is needed, but there are other ways to go about it.

Everyone should be concerned!

Anything the White House does is mostly smoke and mirrors.
This president is no different from his predecessors.

Once Medicare For All is passed, it won't be needed.

Family planning services should be a family's responsibility. No, I wouldn't restore it.
I would need to look at the numbers before I made a decision like that.

I would restore it and increase it!

How about climate change? Do you think it's as bad as the Democratic candidates say it is?

The United States needs to be more engaged in the fight against it.

I think some of it is hype.
If the world is heating up, why are winters so bad?

It's worse than any politician will admit to the public.

You got into debt! You pay it off!

It's not practical, but something needs to be done to lower it.
There are more effective ways of doing it.

Of course!

Fossil fuels will always be harder to obtain. Regulation should be lifted.
It's a fair market. If they want breaks, they need to become a giant like fossil fuels.

That's more than I make with a degree!

It will create further imbalance.
$15 is not enough!

If you want a higher-paying job, get an education.

He's as corrupt as the rest of Washington.

He would do a better job than President Trump.
His experience as Vice President makes him the best man for the job.

He wouldn't be handling it alone, but I believe another candidate would be a better choice.

Leave them alone! This is how capitalism works.

More regulation is needed.
They do have too much power and money.

I'm not OK with changing our process.

I think she has a great point!
The electoral college is important, and President Trump is proof.

It's a grossly imbalanced system.

The upper class should pay more than they do.
Without tax breaks for the wealthy, the economy would collapse.

Corporations should be taxed more, but individual taxes need to be reexamined.

It's not enough to finalize my decision, but it's not a bad idea.

I think it encourages more crime.
