East Coast, beast coast! If that's not a saying, it is now. The East Coast has basically everything you could ever want or need. Mountains for skiing? There are hundreds. Beaches for sunbathing? Also hundreds, and some are ranked in the top ten of the entire country year after year. What's not to like? Living on the East Coast means you'll get to enjoy all four seasons in most places, but there are also places where it will be summer all year round. What a world we live in! The East Coast is also home to our nation's capital and so much history it's insane. If you're into Civil War history, head to Gettysburg, PA. Want to go back further? Go to Washington's Crossing.

Being born and raised on the East Coast - or moving there later in life - is something you won't regret. There are so many cities to choose from, including some of the most major cities in the country. There's New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and smaller cities too. Did you forget about Disney World? Not a city, but yep, that's on the East Coast too, and you'll find things there that the other Disney parks don't have.

There's one pretty much every half mile.

It's just about five minutes down the road.

My house

I usually go out with friends after work.

What would you say is the main style of decor in your house?

Very cozy and lodge-y

That's pretty much all we have.

They're available for sure.

Is your city one that a lot of people come to visit?

In the winter it's insane.

We do get a lot of curious minds.
Certain times of the year it's flooded with tourists.

I'd say yes and no - it depends on the time of the year.

What kind of work do you do?

I'm a teacher.

I work as a museum curator.
I'm a waitress.

I work on computers.

When do you think you'll leave your current city?

Never, I love it here.

As soon as possible
I leave to travel but I always come back. It's so fun.

I have a few ideas, but nothing concrete.

What's the one thing you wish people knew about where you live?

We're more than just a ski resort.

All of the stuff you heard hasn't been proven.
It's not spring break all the time.

The city is way better than you think.

What's the best way to get around your city?

Car, definitely

You can walk a lot of places, but a car is nice.
If you're right downtown, walking is the best, or bike riding.

Really anything, it's all decent.

What's your favorite breakfast to get?

Farm fresh eggs and greens

A good omelet
Biscuits and gravy

Bagels

Does your city feel more like a small town?

The whole state feels like a small town.

It has the small town charm with the city amenities.
Half the year it feels like a ghost town.

Parts of it do.

What is the weather generally like where you live?

Cold or hot, really no in between

It's usually pretty warm, but we have some cold days.
It's so nice all year round.

Mostly just cold and damp

If a celebrity lived near you, would it be a big deal or would people just shrug their shoulders about it?

People are super chill here, so people wouldn't care.

We've had many celebrities come through and it's always exciting.
Depends on the celebrity

It's a big deal at first, but then they just become one of the neighbors.

Do you feel like your future was decided for you because of where you were born?

Maybe a little, but I'm totally okay with it.

Nope, I was always given the freedom to be whatever I wanted.
Kind of yeah

It is hard to get out of this city, but most don't want to.

Are you proud of where you live?

Absolutely, the city does a lot of good.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no
It gets a bad rap sometimes, but I love it.

Eh, I have no feelings one way or another.
