About This Quiz

Generational differences can be very obvious. You can look at someone and guess if they are a boomer or a millennial. Another way to tell someone's age is by the food they eat, order or turn their nose up at. Some generations are known for viral food trends like unicorn bagels, and others are known for boiling vegetables and ruining them for future generations.

Food trends evolve, based on so many factors. The economy is a big one. The more money people have, the more they go out to eat and the more they purchase expensive and small-market ingredients. In tighter times, people tend to gravitate towards pre-made foods and bulk items, as they usually run cheaper. No matter the current economy, some age groups spend more liberally, while others had to crunch numbers, based on whether or not they've experienced hard times in the past.

In everyday life, no one likes stereotypes. Millennials have killed too many industries to count and none of them can afford houses because they buy too much avocado toast. Baby boomers love Fox News and can't text. Generation X, well, their only stereotype is that no one really knows what they are. Then you have Gen Z people, who apparently eat Tide Pods for breakfast.
