About This Quiz
Although the automobile is barely more than 120 years old, it has transformed the landscape of the industrialized world. It has brought us all closer together, enabling us to traverse great distances in comfort and at least a decent level of safety. It has also separated us, not just by isolating us from our fellow man as we travel, but also by encouraging layouts of towns and cities that work against neighborhood cohesion, increase crime and clog up our streets. So cars have certainly been a mixed blessing to society at large.Â
At the individual level, cars certainly mean different things to different people: a way to get from A to B; a place to think and to clear one's head; a form of freedom that you cannot get any other way; and a way to display one's identity to the world. People not only buy or hire a car that reflects the way they see the world, but they also use it in a way that reflects how they feel about it, how busy they are and their personality. Some people are laid-back drivers, others are hyper-aggressive, and most are broadly responsible.Â
So tell us about yourself, and we'll guess how you handle yourself behind the wheel!
