Whether you're drawn to freestyle moves on the halfpipe or carving up a downhill slope, we think we can figure out if you're shreddin' the gnar or smashing a few fresh lines.
How soon after the first snow are you on the mountain?
I'll probably be out there before the first snow.
I'll show up for the second big snowfall.

I generally prefer just going down the hill, but I do some tricks once in a while.

Are you more of a rebel or do you tend to follow the rules?
I'm a total rebel. I go my own way.
I always follow the rules.
I break the rules once in a while, but I mostly do what you're supposed to.

How willing to take risks are you?
I stay pretty cautious out there on the slopes.
I do take risks, but they tend to be very calculated ones.
I'm pretty risk-averse, but I'll try something new once in a while.

How likely are you to say the phrase "shreddin' the gnar"?
It's pretty rare for me to say that, but I have done it before.
That will come out of my mouth on a regular basis.

How appealing is cross-country skiing to you?
I've never been, and I have no interest in ever going.
I went once, but it was way too boring.
It's very appealing. I go all the time.

Do you know what "Après-Ski" means?
I know what it means, but I don't think I've ever used it.
Absolutely. That is my favorite part of the day.

How important is it for you to find the fresh pow?
It's important, I'm not going to lie.
It's pretty important. I generally don't go unless there is plenty of it on the mountain.
It's nice, but I'll go down on anything.
I definitely look for it, but I'm willing to ride on less fresh stuff.

How appealing is going into the backcountry for you?
I'd generally rather stick to the park, but I'm up for anything.
I prefer to stay on the well-worn paths.
I enjoy heading into the backcountry, as long as it's within reason.
I love doing stuff in the backcountry. In fact, I prefer it.
How likely are you to be hittin' a kicker?
I tend to avoid the jumps.
I'm not hittin' them all the time, but it's happening a few times a day at least.
I'll hit them once in a while, but it's rare.
That just about all I do all day.
How epic are your bails?
They're generally pretty mild, but there will be a brutal one once in a while.
When I fail, I generally fail in epic fashion.
I rarely wipe out, and when I do, it's usually pretty mild.
There are a few massive wrecks that happen each trip.

How much gear for the slopes do you have?
I keep my gear to a minimum.
I have a lot of stuff that I bring with me to the slopes.
I have a decent amount of stuff.
It's kind of ridiculous just how much gear I actually have.
Do you stick to one spot or are you all over the map?
I'm all over the place. It's rare for me to go to the same place twice.
I usually find a spot that I like and I stick with it.
I do a fair bit of traveling, and I hit a wide range of places each season.
I mix it up a bit, but I definitely have a few spots that I like more.
Are you a ripper or a shredder?
I prefer to do some shredding, but a rip is nice once in a while.
I'm a total ripper.
I'm all shredder, all the time.
I'm mostly a ripper, but I need to get a shred in once in a while.

How much do you love big dumps?
What are we talking about here?
Nothing gets me more fired up than a big dump.
I enjoy them a lot. I'm scouting out the slopes while it's happening.
They can be great, as long as it's not too deep out there.
Are you more likely to do a yard sale or a taco when you wipe out?
It's a total yard sale when I wipe it.
It's about equally likely that I'll do either.
Neither, I rarely wipe out badly.
I suppose I tend to end up in a taco situation.
French fries or pizza?
I definitely prefer french fries, but pizza is good too.
Pizza, without a doubt.
I'm all about the french fries.
Serve it up on a platter. I'd prefer some pizza, but I wouldn't turn away some fries.

It's usually a pain box for me, but even that can be fun.
They are pain boxes. I avoid them.

I'm mostly crunchy, but I lose my cool from time to time.

How often do you chat with the lifties?
If it's a new place, I'll chat with as many as I can to get the lay of the land.
I make it a habit of always checking in with them, but it's mostly just to say hello.
I sometime chat with them, but only if it's convenient.
I hardly ever chat with the lifties. I've got places to be.
Would you classify yourself as sick, gnarly, or rad?
None of the above.

How much of a park rat are you?
I go through spurts where I'm there all the time and then I'm gone for a while.
I'm there all day, every day.
I'm there for a few hours, but it's not an all-day thing for me.
I've thought about having my mail forwarded to the mountain.

How often do you do some schussing?
I never do that.
It's pretty rare, but I'll do some schussing occasionally.
That's mostly what I do on the mountain.
I do that from time to time, especially when I'm getting tired.
Are you more likely to do a stall, grind, or switch?
Grind.
None of the above.
Switch.

Have you ever been on a six-pack?
I've been on one a time or two.
I'm on them all the time.
I've had a six-pack after the skiing, but I've never been on one.
I've been on one once before. It was a trip.

Will you still take to the slopes on a white out?
Oh yeah, those days are a blast.
Nope, it's too dangerous to go in those conditions.
I tried that once, and I promised myself I would never do that again.
I've done it before. It was kind of fun.
How often do your bros tell you that you're tearin' it up?
I don't think I've ever heard those words.

That happened to me a few times last season. What a rush.
I can't remember that ever happening to me.
It's been a long time since that happened. It was pretty scary when it did.
