About This Quiz

Although everyone has different criteria for what makes a movie funny, certain lines are ubiquitously and unanimously funny throughout comedic history. These are the lines that make you laugh so hard that tears come to your eyes. You may even remember where you were the first time you heard the lines, and you definitely have recited them over and over again (whether or not the timing was appropriate).

The best part about funny movie quotes is that they live with us for decades. Some of these quotes will be used to define a generation, while others become timeless references to what will always be funny.

In this quiz, you'll experience both kinds of quotes. We found 35 of the funniest movie lines of all time, and we want to see just how well you know your lines. Keep in mind that these quotes aren't necessarily all from comedy movies. Some of the funniest lines from movies come from dramas and crime movies ... this quiz would be incomplete if we just delivered Happy Madison and Mel Brooks classics, although several of those lines will be included. So, let's see if you have what it takes to finish these funniest movie quotes of all time.
