We may not have seen them in action, but some of these athletes have dominated their sport. From Serena Williams to Cristiano Ronaldo, how well can you identify these athletes?

Between 2002 and 2017, Serena Williams ranked #1 in the Women’s Tennis Association. She has won four Olympic gold medals and almost 40 Grand Slam titles, and a few more in doubles alongside her sister, Venus, earning her $84 million in prize money.

During his 20-year career, David Beckham has won 19 major trophies and played in major teams like Real Madrid, Manchester United and has also held the position of captain for England's National team. As a result of having such a successful career, Beckham has a current net worth of US $450 million.

This newly-retired Jamaican sprinter began his career over a decade ago and he is the only person in the world to have held the records for both 100 meters and 200 meters. He, along with the rest of his Jamaican team members, also holds the current record for the 4x100-meter relay. He has also won eight Olympic gold medals, as well as earning the nickname “Lightning​ Bolt."

Born in Sweden on October 3, 1981, the current Manchester United forward was also the captain of the Swedish national team, for which he is the all-time leading goal scorer. In 2013, he was named the third best player in the world by The Guardian, right after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

After winning three NBA Championships, two Olympic gold medals, and four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, just to name a few, it is easy to see why LeBron James is one of the most recognized basketball players in the world.

Often called one of the greatest footballers of the 21st century, Cristiano Ronaldo has won over 20 titles, ranging from UEFA Championships and league titles. He has been the only one to win the European Golden Shoes award four times.

This American baseball player’s career lasted over 21 years and approximately 22 seasons. Elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936, Babe Ruth hit over 700 home runs, 60 of which were in 1927.

Born in 1978, Manny Pacquio is a professional boxer who is the only eight-division world champion. He is also the first boxer to win four of the eight major titles. Fun fact: Pacquiao is currently serving as the Senator of the Philippines.

When you think about successful athletes, Luis Suarez is one of the first who comes to mind, or at least he should. He has won 14 trophies, two European Golden Shoes, a premiere league Golden Boot, and has scored over 300 career goals.

Frank Lampard is a former English footballer who in his 13 years playing for Chelsea, has not only become one of the greatest midfielders in the history of the sport, but is also the all-time leading scorer for the club. After retiring in February of 2017, he announced that the next step in his career is obtaining his coaching license.

Lewis Hamilton is a British Formula One race car driver who has often been called the best driver of our generation. Not only has he won the World Champion title four times, he also has the most career points of all time.

Born and raised in Northern Ireland, Rory McIlroy was introduced to golf by his father at a very early age. He has held the world #1 ranking for 95 consecutive weeks. He has also won four major championships, three of which were before he was 25 years old.

Born Cassius Clay, this world-famous boxer held the record for the most heavyweight titles for more than 35 years. He is also the only person to be named Fighter of the Year by The Ring magazine. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease ​and died from complications of a respiratory illness in 2016.

This Argentine professional football player is the only player to win five FIFA Ballon d’Or and four European Golden Shoes. Currently playing for FC Barcelona, he has won more than 25 trophies with the team and has the most goals scored in La Liga.

Danica Patrick is a professional race car driver who is one of the most successful American women in the history of open-wheel racing. She was the only woman to have won an IndyCar Series and the only woman to finish in the top three in the Indianapolis 500.

Currently ranked #1 in men’s singles in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals, Rafael Nadal has won more than 15 Grand Slam titles, an Olympic Gold medal, and 19 ATP World Tour 500 tournaments. He has been a member of Spain’s winning Davis Cup team four times.

James Harden is a professional basketball player who currently plays the position as point guard for the Houston Rockets. In 2009, he was the third overall pick in the NBA Draft and was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2012.

Maria Sharapova is a Russian tennis player who was ranked #1 when she was only 18 years old. She has a total of 35 singles titles and has won more than $36 million in prize money. In 2016, she failed a drug test during the Australian Open and was banned from the sport for two years.

When Neymar was still a teenager, he helped his club to win many championships, some of which include a Copa do Brasil and two Campeonato Paulista championships.

Stephen Curry began his professional basketball career in 2009 with the Golden State Warriors and since then, he has won the NBA Championship twice, the NBA Most Valuable Player twice, has two FIBA World Cup Gold Medals as well as four NBA All-Star titles.

Drew Brees is an American football player for the New Orleans Saints. Throughout his career, he has won 10 Pro Bowls, two NFL Offensive Player of the Year awards, a Super Bowl Championship and the Super Bowl MVP award in that same year.

Hope Solo has often been called one of the greatest female soccer players of all time. Not only is the goalkeeper a two-time Olympic gold medalist, she has also won the FIFA Women’s World Cup Golden Glove, Bronze Ball and the Championship in 2015.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. was a former professional boxer who held more than 12 world titles in five weight classes as well as an Olympic bronze medal and three U.S. Golden Glove championships. Out of the ring, the boxer has had many stints with the law, especially when it comes to domestic violence and battery.

Currently ranked #2 by the Association of Tennis Professionals in men’s singles tennis, Roger Federer has over 15 Grand Slam Singles titles to his name, as well as an Olympic gold medal. He makes an estimated $50-$60 million US in endorsement deals alone.

While he was still in college, Andrew Luck won the Maxwell and Walter Camp Awards as the football player of the year. In 2010 and 2011, he was the runner-up for the Heisman trophy, and he also won three Pro Bowl titles from 2012 to 2014.

Alexandra Morgan is an American soccer player who has not only won an Olympic gold medal, but has also won the FIFA Women’s World Cup alongside her teammates. She made her professional debut in 2011, where she was drafted #1 in the Women’s Professional Soccer Draft.

Before retiring in 2016, Peyton Manning played quarterback for more than 15 seasons in the National Football League, most of them for the Indianapolis Colts. During his career, he won the Super Bowl Championship twice, a Super Bowl MVP title, and the Pro Bowl 14 times.

Among many professional basketball players, Kevin Durant is one who stands out, and with good reason. He has won an NBA Championship, an NBA Most Valuable Player award, four NBA scoring titles, two Olympic gold medals and has been selected to eight NBA All-Star teams.

Cesc Fabregas is a professional footballer who currently plays central midfielder for Chelsea FC and for the Spanish national team. He has won many league titles, as well as the FIFA World Cup with the Spanish team in 2010 and the U-17 Golden Ball and Shoe in 2003.

Ronda Rousy is a mixed martial artist and actress who earned an Olympic bronze and gold medal in Judo. She has won more than 10 consecutive MMA fights, six of which were in the Ultimate Fighting Championship,

Russell Wilson is an American footballer who plays quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. He has won a Super Bowl championship with his team and in 2012, became the only quarterback to tie Peyton Manning’s record for the most touchdown passes.

Tom Brady is just one of only two players in the world to win five Super Bowl titles, and the only one to do it playing for the same team. He has also been honored four times with the Super Bowl MVP award.

For many years, Tiger Woods was one of the highest-paid athletes in the world as well as being one of the most successful. He has won 14 major championships, four Masters tournaments, four PGA Championships as well as wining the U.S. Open three times.

This British professional tennis player is currently ranked #16 in the men’s singles. He is also a three-time Grand Slam winner as well as being a two-time Olympic gold medalist and a Davis Cup champion. Andy Murray was the only British player in almost 40 years to win a Grand Slam single.

Not many people have gone on to have such a successful career, but this 14-time NBA All-Star has beaten the odds. With too many awards to mention, the former athlete launched his own line of athletic shoes, which now brings in an average of $100 million a year to the star alone.

Venus Williams turned pro when she was only 14 years old, and since then has earned almost $40 million in prize money as well as winning two Australian Opens, five Wimbledon titles, two US Opens, and 14 Grand Slam Women’s doubles titles with her sister, Serena.

Virat Kohli is an international cricketer who is the captain for the Indian national cricket team. In 2016, he was ranked as the 8th most famous athlete in the world. He has won the Man of the Tournament twice in the ICC World 2020 and currently holds numerous records in his native India.

Born in 1992 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Odell Beckham Jr. is a professional wide receiver for the New York Giants. Since entering the NFL in 2014, he has won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, three Pro Bowls and two Second-team All-Pro awards.

When you think about professional golfers, Phil Mickelson is one player that comes to mind. With over 42 wins on the PGA Tour, some of them include three Masters titles and an Open championship. He is one of 15 people in the world to win three of the four major titles.

Born and raised in Serbia, this 6 foot, 1 inch tennis star has held the #1 spot in men’s singles for a total of 223 weeks. He has won six Australian Open titles, three Wimbledon titles, two US Open titles, a French Open, and a Bronze medal in the 2008 Olympic medal.

James Rodriguez is a professional soccer player who currently plays for Bayern Munich and is also the captain of the Colombian national team. In 2014, he won the Golden Boot for being the top goal scorer in the FIFA World Cup as well as being a part of the Cup’s All-Star team.

Shaun White is a professional skateboarder and snowboarder who has won two Olympic gold medals and currently holds the record for having the most gold medals in both the regular and Winter X-Games. He has also won 10 ESPY awards as well as many other non-competition awards.

Michael Phelps is known throughout the world as the most successful competitive swimmer of all time. With 28 Olympic medals, 23 of them gold, not only has he broken numerous records, he also holds many international titles, including American Swimmer of the Year Award eleven times.

Conor McGregor is an Irish professional boxer and a mixed martial artist who is currently the reigning UFC Lightweight Champion and is raked #2 on UFC’s pound for pound ranking. He is also known for drawing a large crowd when it comes to pay-per-view MMA fights.

Rafael Nadal is a Spanish professional tennis player who has won more than 15 Grand Slam singles titles, many of them on clay courts. In addition to that, he has won 30 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 titles, two Olympic gold medals and 19 ATP World Tour 500 tournaments.

David Ortiz is a professional baseball player who began playing in Major League Baseball in 1992 before retiring with 541 home runs in 2016. During his career, he was a World-Series champion three times, a Silver Slugger winner seven times, and an All-Star 10 times.

Born on the Ivory Coast, Yaya Toure is a professional soccer player who has been playing for Manchester City since 2010 and has since scored 62 goals with the team. He has also won the Premier League numerous times, the FA Cup and the League Cup.

Sania Mirza is an Indian tennis player who was ranked as India’s #1 doubles tennis player and as such, is one of the highest-paid athletes in the country. She has won over 10 medals, in addition to earning success as a singles competitor.

Wayne Rooney is a professional soccer player who currently plays for Premier League’s Everton but was best known for the successes he achieved on both Manchester United and on England's national team. He is the only English player to have won the FA Cup, FIFA World Cup, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Champions League and the Premier​ League.
