Speaking of teams, how much do you know about the 31 different teams that call the NHL home? While you might know their logos, where they play and how good they have been playing, do you know who plays on each roster? Do you know their star scorers, fierce defenders and goalies who help them to win games?
If so, or if you simply want to learn more about who the best players are behind every team, this quiz is right up your alley. We will provide you with three of the best players who share a team, and it is up to you to decipher and tell us the NHL team for which they play (as of mid-October 2019).

These are three of the best players on the Buffalo Sabres' roster. While the team hasn't had a lot of success recently, these three are looking to turn that around.
The Colorado Avalanche are among the teams with the most potential in the entire NHL, and it is where these three play. They are only a few years removed from being one of the worst teams of the early 2010s.
The team that includes those three stars on their roster is the Toronto Maple Leafs. They are one of the most popular and successful NHL teams of all time, playing in one of the largest markets.

Barkov, Ekblad and Hoffman all play for the Florida Panthers. The Panthers have been around since 1993, but haven't enjoyed much regular season or playoff success thus far in their time in the NHL.
These three players all currently play in the U.S. capital of Washington, D.C. The Capitals have long been a talented team and finally won their first Stanley Cup in 2017-18.

These three players are some of the best and most talented players on the roster of the Ottawa Senators. The Senators have had success in the past, but are currently among the lower echelon of teams in the NHL.

These three talented players play for the Columbus Blue Jackets. While the team has struggled mightily over the years, they own of one of the biggest playoff upsets ever after having swept the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round of the 2018-19 playoffs.
These players take the ice for the Nashville Predators. The Predators have not won a Stanley Cups in their history, but they have been playing great hockey and are likely close to winning their first.
Kane, Toews and Keith all played very important roles on the ice for the Chicago Blackhawks. They helped the team win multiple Stanley Cup championships in the last decade, winning it in 2010, 2013 and 2015.

Stamkos, Kucherov and Point all play forward for the Tampa Bay Lightning. They are often one of the best teams in the NHL and tied an NHL record with 62 wins in the 2018-19 NHL season.
