About This Quiz
"Pirates of the Caribbean" is a series of fantasy films about a group of swashbuckling pirates who sail throughout the Caribbean (and sometimes the world), searching for treasures as well as the people who have wronged them.
The films were based on a ride found at the different Walt Disney World parks with the same name which were brought to life by producer Jerry Bruckheimer. To date, there are five films in the series including "The Curse of the Black Pearl," "Dead Man's Chest," "At World's End," "On Stranger Tides" and "Dead Men Tell No Tales." The film series is so successful that it was the first series where one of the films grossed over $1 billion worldwide.
Beyond the action and unique sea creatures, the characters are one of the main reasons why the series is so successful. Roles like Jack Sparrow's, Will Turner's, Hector Barbossa's and Elizabeth Swann's are some of the ones that people look forward to seeing more of.
