About This Quiz
In the history of American cinema, there are a handful of fascinating and endearing characters that audiences just can't get enough of. Sure, we all love movies about samurai, pirates, knights, and Spartans, but in American history, the two most legendary groups immortalized on film have always been gangsters and cowboys. They represent a lawlessness that has been romanticized over the years. These are characters with a unique system of honor who play by their own rules and are definitely not above doing bad things to get what they want.
And still, despite many of them seeming villainous, we still love characters like Doc Holliday and Al Capone. Movies like "The Godfather" and "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" are classics of the genres and have stood the test of time for years. The works of Sergio Leone or Martin Scorcese immediately come to mind and illustrate what life must have really been like in a time when gangsters or cowboys were the norm across the country. That's pretty amazing when you think about it.
So now's your chance to let us know what kind of film buff you are picking some of your favorite gangsters and cowboys from film history.
