About This Quiz

Do you love to boogie? Are you part of the population of funkytown? If you've spent a lot of time on the dance floor, then this is the quiz for you. In this quiz, we'll give you a line from a classic disco song, and you give us the name of the artist that recorded it.

"God bless Mother Nature, she's a single woman too."

The Weather Girls are remembered for alerting the world "It's Raining Men."

"We can try to understand the New York Times' effect on man."

Now it's all right, it's OK, if you realized this line was from "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees.

"When I get to be in your arms, when we're all alone."

The majority of the song is made up of the word "uh-huh," but this line is from KC and the Sunshine Band's "That's the Way (I Like It)."

"Will you be my Mr. Right?"

Donna Summer won't know if you're Mr. Right until you dance the "Last Dance."

"We're bumpin' booties, havin' us a ball, y'all."

If you "Shake Your Groove Thing" with Peaches and Herb, you'll hear this line.

"Feel the rhythm, check the ride, come on along and have a real good time."

Freak out! This line is from "Le Freak" by Chic.

"Now first it wasn't easy changin' rock & roll minds"

The band Wild Cherry shared the experience of the time they were told to "Play that Funky Music."

"Let me tell you it's always cool and the boss don't mind sometimes, if ya act a fool."

If you want to work somewhere cool, where the boss doesn't mind if you act like a fool, then perhaps you would enjoy working at the "Car Wash" with Rose Royce.

"Your violins keep movin' to the nitty gritty."

Vicki Sue Robinson was adamant that you "Turn the Beat Around."

"If you're thinkin' you're too cool to boogie, boy oh boy, have I got news for you."

A Taste of Honey requires your presence on the dance floor to "Boogie Oogie Oogie."
