About This Quiz
This quiz will put your Brady Bunch knowledge to the test. Let's get started.
Running from 1969 to 1974, "The Brady Bunch" opened doors in the television industry. Like few other shows of the era, the show tackled the issues surrounding the blended family. Certainly, little was said about Carol Brady's first marriage, but Mike's first wife died. One must wonder if the insinuation was that Carol was divorced, but the lack of any paternal contact from the father of the Brady girls and the fact that they took their stepfather's last name studiously belied the living presence of a father. Still, it would have been nice to have a bit more info there.
"The Brady Bunch" was never a critical success, but it was definitely popular among younger viewers, and it was hailed for its "clean" coverage issues of sibling rivalry, friendship, and marriage. Indeed, nobody knew what went on behind those closed Brady doors. But then the show was never meant to be a critical success, only a ratings one. Created by television superstar, Sherwood Schwartz, "The Brady Bunch" did what it was supposed to do: entertain viewers.ÂÂ
