About This Quiz
Ever since Henry Ford painted the Model T with five colors (from 1908-1914), none of which were black, the personality of the car was born, as a concept. Before the mass-produced Model T, and the personalization of the color of the car, all cars were just rich men's playthings. Ford took a huge step forward again with the Ford Mustang, introducing the concept of options when ordering a new car, to further personalize it. Add in trim levels, and purpose-built variants, and you've got a universe of automobiles, each with a distinct feel, look, and personality.
Cars are sold, largely, on their personalities. For the vast majority of driving, most cars do the same things equally well, but few people buy a car because it's a box with wheels. People buy cars because something about the car clicks for them. Maybe it's a combination of thrills and practicality, or ruggedness and luxury, or design and efficiency. Appealing to the needs and dreams of car buyers is the goal of every automaker, and in this quest, they have found ways to match products to people with incredible precision.
Have you ever wondered what your automotive equivalent is? It's out there! Take this quiz, and we will reverse the work of the manufacturers and find out what is the multi-ton four-wheeled machine you are!
