As much as some people say that they value someone's personality over their looks, let's be real here: most of us really do judge a book by its cover. First impressions come from how you dress, your personal hygiene and how you present yourself to the world (which could also include the way you walk and talk). Of course, makeup looks count in this as well, as people will (hopefully) notice your face first when you're speaking.
