About This Quiz

It's been 20 years since Kevin Smith's "Dogma" came out to a lot of laughs and a little bit of controversy. The film falls right in the middle of his cinematic universe that started with "Clerks" in 1994 and is still going strong today. "Dogma" deals with a lot of big ideas, including God, religion and racism, in a way that only Kevin Smith can. It has an abundance of that crisp, witty dialog that Smith is famous for, as well as his staple characters of Jay and Silent Bob, wrapped up in what was clearly their craziest adventure of all.

An all-star cast that includes Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, Chris Rock, George Carlin, Alanis Morisette, Linda Fiorentino, Salma Hayek, Jason Lee, and Alan Rickman make this a stand-out movie. Not to mention the fact it features a demon made of something unmentionable and angels engaging in a New Jersey bloodbath at the film's climax. There's a lot going on and it's absolutely hilarious. If you know the adventures of Jay and Silent Bob like the back of your own hand and you can quote "Dogma" like you lived it, then surely you can answer a few simple questions about it, right?

Alanis Morissette
Alanis Morissette was apparently Kevin Smith's choice to play the role of Bethany in the movie, but Morisette was on tour for a chunk of the filming schedule so she could only make herself available for the very small role of God at the end.
