About This Quiz

This quiz is great prep for the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) test. This is a simple quantitative comparison problem. The value of "A," 192, is less than the value for "B," which is 279.

The number 750 is divisible by which odd numbers? Factorize 750: 750 = 2 x 375. Stop here because 375 is an odd number.

Trying different values for "n" determines that a relationship cannot be established. Using the number 13 yields remainders of 1 and 6 for "A" and "B," respectively. However, using the number 21 for "n" yields 1 and 0 for these values.

The word "although" introduces the first clause which indicates that a contrast is being established. Choose the best answer that's contrary to an endangered status.

It is not likely that Jessica would be happy or upset by the temperature change. At best, she would be unfamiliar with her new environment.


The price of a video game is "p" dollars; A: {0.75 x p} B: The price of the video game after a 25 percent discount.

A twenty-five percent discount is the same as buying the item at 75 percent of its original price. Therefore, seventy-five percent of "p" is equal to 0.75 x p.
