About This Quiz

According to the internet, there are currently six living generations in the United States. They include the GI Generation, the Silent Generation, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials and Generation Z. The GI generation was born between 1901 and 1924; they were teenagers during the Great Depression and spent the night rocking away to swing music.

The following generations were known for things like sticking to the rules, were hippie kids, experienced the fall of the Berlin Wall, saw the rise of the internet and currently, sing along to Moana, in that order. There are also those born in the cusp years (between two generations), who love a mix of more than what one generation has to offer. Today, we want to ask you a few questions about what you like in a good movie character, and we want to know everything.

Tell us about your favorite kind of good guy, about your favorite antagonists, about the femme fatales you and even about the damsels in distress. Tell us what makes a great supporting character and even what kind of characters make you cringe. We're going to analyze every single answer and put you into one of the living generations. If you think we can correctly guess which generation you belong in based on your movie character preferences, let's get started on this quiz!
