About This Quiz

We are all more than the sum of our parts. Americans, for example, identify strongly with their nation, their home state, their religious affiliation or lack thereof, and the nation or nations from which their ancestors came. Even regions of the U.S. have unique blends of many cultures. The former New Amsterdam retains laws, local sayings, legal terminology, and even a bit of an accent from its Dutch heritage. Much of the "American" accent is inherited from the influx of Irish immigrants who flooded the nation in the 1800s, building canals and railroads.

Today we live in a globalist world. We eat Thai food while watching French films on our phones made in South Korea, which runs on software developed in Cupertino, CA. We are more defined as a mix of cultures than ever before. Just think about how sports have changed. What's the most popular fighting sport? Not boxing. It's MMA, dominated by Brazilian JiuJitsu. Where do many of the best baseball players come from? Dutch colonies in The Caribbean. The result is a people who are a combination of inputs, of nations. Our tastes are so much more ecumenical, and we are much more international than we once were.

Which two countries make up your outlook? Which define your favorite flavors? What are your feelings on the role of powerful nations in the lives of others? Take this quiz and find out which two countries you are!
