Some people say that men are visual creatures who only care about looks. However, there are two issues with this position. The first is that men have a huge variety of preferences when it comes to looks; some prefer svelte women, some prefer the larger ladies, while some prefer lighter and others darker complexions, and some prefer a more curvaceous frame while others go for the string bean look.
The other issue with this belief is that it is nonsense. Most women find plenty of men to admire them over the course of their lives, and plenty of conventionally "unattractive" women have fabulous men drooling all over them. That's because the majority of men are not actually pathetic slavering beasts who only care about looks. They're human beings who want to make a connection with someone who shares their values, their dreams, and their sense of humor. They know that having a great spark with someone is an alchemy that transcends whatever arbitrary rankings immature guys might place on people's attractiveness. They want to be in a relationship that brings them safety, a sense of being wanted even more than they're needed, and the chance for real joy and intimacy. That means whatever sort of person you are, there's a man out there who will appreciate your better qualities. Let's figure out what's really ticking their boxes!
