I like having calluses on the bottom of my feet, then I can walk on rough surfaces and it doesn't hurt.
Why should I? They just come back.
Calluses tell me where my shoes are rubbing. I try to take care of the shoe problem and remove the callus.

If you are giving yourself a home pedicure, what should you include?
Sorry, I don't do home pedicures.
Soak, exfoliate and put a base polish on, then color.
Soak, exfoliate, and moisturize. I don't do nail polish.
Massage, soak, exfoliate and moisturize at a minimum.

What is the correct way to paint your toenails?
Base, color, clear top coat.
Use toe separators to keep your toes apart. Then paint with base and color.
Rub off the old color and paint on the new color.
The "three stroke method," which consists of using one stroke on each side and a stroke in the center.

So you can try a new color.
It could stain your nail.
