Of course, I want soft, sensuous feet.

I like having calluses on the bottom of my feet, then I can walk on rough surfaces and it doesn't hurt.
Why should I? They just come back.

Calluses tell me where my shoes are rubbing. I try to take care of the shoe problem and remove the callus.

Do you push back the cuticles on your feet?

My pedicurist does.

I buy new shoes all the time.

I go for good quality socks made from cotton or wool.

What happens if you trim your toes the wrong way?

They catch on your tights and ruin them.

Rounded, like my fingernails.

Trim them to where your toe ends, don't let them grow longer.
As short as possible so you don't have to trim them for awhile.

If you are giving yourself a home pedicure, what should you include?

Sorry, I don't do home pedicures.

Soak, exfoliate and put a base polish on, then color.
Soak, exfoliate, and moisturize. I don't do nail polish.

Massage, soak, exfoliate and moisturize at a minimum.

What is the correct way to paint your toenails?

Base, color, clear top coat.

Use toe separators to keep your toes apart. Then paint with base and color.
Rub off the old color and paint on the new color.

The "three stroke method," which consists of using one stroke on each side and a stroke in the center.

Why should you remove the nail polish color after a few days?

So you can try a new color.

It could stain your nail.
I don't. That seems like a waste.

If you leave the polish on for too long, you might find that your nails look yellowed.

What's wrong with nail polish remover that has acetone?

It smells.

It's hard on your skin.
It evaporates if you leave the top off.

It has a severe drying effect on your nails.

How can you stop bunions before they get out of hand?

Wear bunion pads.

Don't wear pointy shoes.
Consider surgery.

Make sure your footwear isn’t causing the problem.

How can you prevent nail polish from staining your skin?

Apply a small amount of Vaseline on the skin around your toe nail.

Use the tip of an orangewood stick wrapped in cotton and soaked in nail polish remover to clean up the skin.

What might happen if you cut your toenails too short?

My toes will look fat and round, not long and elegant.

You can get an ingrown toenail.
Nice and short means I can wait longer to cut them again.

Dirt and fungus can get in between the skin and nail and cause an infection.

Many people don’t realize that osteoporosis often shows up first in the feet. What should you do to prevent this?

Get medical checkups regularly.

Nothing, especially if they are cute.

They are fine as long as you don't wear them all day. They don't have much support.
You can stub your toe.

You should always wear supportive foot wear and that rules out flip flops.
