About This Quiz
They say the days of men are threescore years and ten, though hopefully nowadays we can aspire to an extra score somewhere in there (if we look after ourselves). The days of volcanoes, canyons, volcanic plugs, batholiths, folds, mesas, caves, mountains and the other formations that make up our world are considerably longer than ours, as they are often shaped very slowly. They can be sculpted by the wind or by the constant flow or drip-drip-drip of water. They can also change quickly, when an earthquake or underground pressure builds up to too much, and rock is split asunder or melted so that it flows and reforms. Probably the most dramatic way for a formation to be created is when a meteor strike creates a crater, with the Gulf of Mexico being the most obvious example on the planet.
Which of these sounds the most like you? Are you fiery and powerful like a volcano? Are you deep and quiet like a canyon? Perhaps you are sociable and supportive of others, but your strength is often underestimated, like a stalagmite? Or are you just utterly misunderstood, like a batholith or a mesa? This quiz will help you figure out which of these you truly are!
