Whether it's a zombie apocalypse, a power grid failure or a meteor smashing into the earth is entirely up to you! We simply feel that it's important for you to go into any apocalypse knowing what job you are meant to do.

You don't have to know how to wield a machete to take this quiz. We're looking more at the kind of skills you practice every day - the kind of skills that would help you foster a brand new society. Thought the apocalypse job quiz, we're going to ask you about your routines and your job. We'll need to know where you stand on the scale of emergency preparedness, and we'll need to understand what kind of fighting spirit you harbor inside. Once we've learned enough, we will reveal your future post-apocalyptic career.

Try to remain open-minded and answer with your gut instincts. Knowing how you approach certain scenarios can help to place you in the perfect field. Hurry! You never know when disaster is right around the corner!

What do you think will be the first priority after the disaster?

Finding loved ones.

I've been known to miss some of the finer details, but the job usually gets done fine.

I've worked in construction, but I was more of a laborer.

I tend to be a bit jumpy, especially if I get surprised by something.

I stay very calm under stress. I'm totally steady.
I can get a little jumpy if I'm tired, but I'm generally pretty steady.

How into sustainability are you currently?

I'm all about living a sustainable lifestyle.

It's not really something that I think about.
I actually teach people how to live a more sustainable life.

I'm totally the brawn.

I am brawny, but I'm intelligent as well.

How much prepping for the apocalypse have you already done?

I've thought about it a bit and done a few things to improve my situation if there's a collapse.

I've done quite a bit of prepping.

It's really not something that I've thought about at all.

Do other people consider you to be handy?

Not at all. People know that I would have no idea what I was doing.

I am limited to fixing basic stuff.
Yep, I'm the go-to person to fix things.

I'm known for being able to handle most handyman tasks.

Are you willing to die for your people?

I suppose I am, but I'd much rather not have to.

Absolutely. I'm always ready to make the ultimate sacrifice.
That doesn't sound like me at all.

I'd like to think so, but I have my doubts about it.

Which location would you rather live in after the apocalypse?

Deep in the woods.

Up in the mountains.
In a fertile valley.

Wherever people have gathered.

Are you a planner or do you tend to wing it?

I will do extensive planning, and I will constantly revise those plans as life throws me curve balls.

I will draw out detailed plans before I begin anything.
I'm all about winging it.

I'll have a basic plan in place, knowing that things will likely morph and change over time.

Do you know any tricks to figuring out if a corner is square?

I don't.

Yep, the 3, 4, 5 trick is very handy.
I'm sure I could figure something out.

I used to know how to do that, but I can't remember anymore.

Would you consider yourself to be a master of any particular subject?

There are a number of subjects that I have a mastery of and could teach to others.

I'm really just a master of one.
I'd say that I'm a jack of all trades and master of none.

I have a couple areas that I consider myself a master of.

How good would you be at working with animals?

I am great with pets and farm animals.

I like dogs, especially service dogs.
I'm pretty good with animals, as long as they aren't bigger than me.

I'm not good with animals at all.

Would you consider yourself to be a good shot?

I'm pretty decent at shooting a gun.

I've shot a gun before, but I'm pretty terrible at it.
I am a sharpshooter.

I have never shot a gun and I have no desire to ever do so.
