About This Quiz
If people didn't have access to powerful and diverse imaginations, we might never have made it this far as a species. Imagine how boring the world would be if no one could imagine all the stories and movies that entertain us, if no one ever imagined "The Avengers" or James Bond, if Shakespeare had never imagined "Hamlet" or Melville had never imagined "Moby Dick." And this is true not just in the world of creative entertainment but even in science. What if no one had been able to imagine a world beyond our own, or harnessing the power of electricity? We wouldn't have progressed beyond simple beasts, really. Imagination is an integral part of all that we do. But it can be overdone sometimes.
In life, you need balance. Part of your mind needs to be imaginative, but just how much of it depends on who you are and what you're doing. You don't want your surgeon's head in the clouds too much, but at the same time, a creative doctor is more likely to be able to come up with an imaginative treatment that just might work. Everything needs to be in balance. So what's your balance? How much of your mind is ruled by imagination? Put on your thinking cap, take the quiz and find out!
