Pretty much everyone loves the "Peanuts" cartoons; in fact, if you meet someone that doesn't there just might be possibly something wrong with them. 

"Peanuts" is as American as apple pie and appeals to so many people, but at the same point still has something that comes across personal to all of us, no matter what our background or vibe is. It is truly one of the most, if not the most, brilliant cartoons of all time. One of the many reasons it is so brilliant is because of the characters.

First, you have Snoopy, who is just totally funny, interesting, and smart,  has there ever been a cartoon dog that is more likable? I don't think so. Then you have Charlie Brown, possibly the most relatable comic character of all time. I mean come on, who doesn't root for Charlie Brown?  

Then we have Lucy, who is kind of cranky a lot of the time, but who still manages to be loveable, and of course, there is Linus, one of the most sensitive souls in the history of cartoons, and there are many more characters that we haven't even touched on yet.
