About This Quiz
Making movies is so much more than pointing a camera at someone and having them spit out a few lines. As a matter of fact, the reason it costs so much to produce movies is the fact it can take thousands of people to make a great movie work well. The average number of people it takes to make a movie is right around 600. That means that 600 job positions need to be filled, 600 paychecks need to be written, and 600 people need to be written in the credits.Â
The positions in Hollywood include directors, assistant directors, actors, screenwriters, editors, set carpenters, wardrobe specialists, casting directors and so many more. That doesn't even include those who run the lights, cameras and sound equipment on each set. These jobs aren't for the weak. They all require quite a bit of work. Hollywood is all about hard work. This neighborhood boasts nearly 80,000 residents. That doesn't include the people in the surrounding areas who need to work, and many who work in the movies. If you lived in (or near) Hollywood, you'd need a job too.Â
If you are wondering what your Hollywood job would be, answer these questions to find out.
