We all grew up with Disney movies, and drove our parents nuts by insisting on playing the same one again and again until we'd memorized it - at which point, instead of offering them a respite, we would simply move on to the next one. This is not a trend that looks likely to end any time soon: indeed, those who see the "Frozen: On Ice" live show will enjoy the phenomenon of 20,000 little girls in the audience all singing a word-perfect rendition of "Let It Go."
That's the power of Disney; it tells stories that are so powerful, they become part of the popular imagination. We sometimes imagine that we leave this behind when we grow up, but the truth is that these are stories for all ages, and we carry them with us. We've all experienced moments that are very like those award-winning scenes, but we haven't all enjoyed the same set of scenes. After all, each of us is starring in our own movie, not playing a bit part in anyone else's.
It's a tale as old as time - and it's time to figure out where you are in your personal story, as told by Disney scenes!
