About This Quiz
If you know anything about Harry Potter, you'll know that every student who attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry gets sorted into one of four magical houses. Slytherin gets a bad rap for creating the most evil wizards in history, and Hufflepuff is kind of known for being on the weaker side and not as brave as those in Gryffindor, who can conquer anything. Ravenclaw is kind of the sleeper house. They never really start trouble and are seen as oddballs, but they will get involved for the right cause. How do you think the sorting hat decides which house to put each student in? Maybe it uses the Myers-Briggs personality test!
The Myers-Briggs test was developed by a mother-daughter duo who used the theory by Carl Jung that people experience the world using four main functions (sensation, intuition, feeling and thinking). There are 16 possible combinations of personality types, so of course, the Hogwarts houses would align with the four most common types. The sorting hat must just be able to tell this about people and then place them in the house that will suit them the best. So which house is the best for you based on your Myers-Briggs personality type? Take this quiz to find out!
