Prince was the musician, and Michael Jackson was the dancer. Both were superstars. And, oddly, both were born in the same year - 1958.
Prince was born Prince Rogers Nelson on June 7, 1958. He was born into a musical family, and he signed his first recording contract when he was just 17. He mastered a wide variety of instruments, including piano and guitar. Prince was also an actor and won an Academy Award for his work in the 1984 movie, "Purple Rain." Prince died on April 21, 2016.
Michael Jackson was in the music business longer than Prince, being practically raised on stage. Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 and was the youngest of the musical Jackson clan.
