About This Quiz

Since its debut on the Hallmark Channel in 2014, the American-Canadian TV series "When Calls the Heart" has charmed fans across the world. Based on a book of the same name by Janette Oke, "When Calls the Heart" is a fascinating hybrid of television genres, mixing the tropes of a Western with eclectic elements like rom-com love triangles and period drama plots.

The story of idealistic schoolteacher Elizabeth Thatcher, "When Calls the Heart" is set in 1910 in Coal Valley, Alberta, a mining town that's reeling in the wake of a terrible accident. Inexperienced and privileged, Elizabeth must work hard to win over the residents of this rough-and-tumble community — especially Jack Thornton, the ambitious young Mountie who's been assigned to guard her. Luckily, local widow Abigail Stanton quickly becomes Elizabeth's ally, and the rest of the town starts to realize that Elizabeth is not their enemy ... but mine owner Henry Gowen might be!

If you've sometimes wished that you could join in on Elizabeth, Jack and Abigail's adventures, this quiz is your chance to. We've come up with a "When Calls the Heart"-themed personality test that will diagnose which one of these wonderful characters is your emotional twin. Are you ready for a journey to the Canadian frontier? Let's get quizzing!
